![]() Yesterday I sucessfully installed NI Native Access, connected the NI 12 Komplete USB drive to a USB3 port and launched NI Komplete 12 installer.īefore I pre-selected different drives/locations for downloads, program-, plugins- and contend installation. Have set up a Win 7 Pro 64Bit machine mainly for audio work,- Intel i7 4790K, 16GB RAM, Samsung Pro 860 (System), Samsung EVO 850 (Data), Samsung EVO Plus 970 (Samples) and a WD SATA600 Velocy Raptor HDD for recording. Komplete 7 is still installed on a 32Bit Win XP machine I don´t use anymore since I moved. I upgraded from Komplete 7 to Komplete 12. ![]() If it helps, I’m on Windows 7, but that has never been a problem previously. Is anyone else having this problem with the N.A software? Long story short: I think the lastest version of Native Access has installation issues.unless it’s just me. To test for sure that it was the N.A software and not my KU12 HDD, I download Analog Dreams through N.A without the HDD plugged in, and sure enough it hung for almost an hour (at which point I closed N.A and checked Cubase.Analog Dreams was there and working). When I went back to N.A, and reloaded it, the products that ‘got stuck’ now showed in the ‘installed’ section instead. To check this, I navigated to where the libraries should have installed, and sure enough, the folders showed the exact same size as the instruments do in N.A, so I forced N.A to close (using task manager) and loaded Cubase, and the products that ‘hung’ were there and working. To begin with, I panicked that my KU12 HDD was faulty and freezing, but I noticed that it only happened when the light on the HDD had stopped blinking (presumably because the content was no longer being accessed or had finished being installed). The HDD was recognised, and everything was installing from it.except Native Access started to get stuck on random installations with the blue bar chasing back and forth, rather than giving me the green ‘installed’ notification. I purachsed the HDD version and it arrived today.Įverything went fine with the Native Access update and the registration of my new K12U CE serial. ![]() So when I got the email for the 50% off sale yesterday, I jumped at the chance to upgrade my K10U and went all out for the K12 U Collector’s Edition.
